Elixir Games, a web3 gaming firm backed by Square Enix, has entered a strategic partnership with Avalanche ecosystem developer Ava Labs. This collaboration also includes Elixir Games acquiring the third-person shooter game RoboKiden from Breach Studios and preparing to launch the KIDEN token this year.

Through the partnership with Ava Labs, Elixir Games intends to leverage Avalanche infrastructure for gameplay and digital assets, particularly with RoboKiden being built on the blockchain. The game, originally developed by Breach Studios, involves game developers from renowned franchises like Assassin's Creed. Scheduled for release in July, RoboKiden already boasts over 100,000 pre-registered users for early access.

Carlos Rodan, CEO of Elixir Games, expressed excitement about bringing RoboKiden to their platform and highlighted Ava Labs' expertise in Web3 technology tailored for gaming. The company recently secured $14 million in seed funding from Square Enix, Shima Capital, and the Solana Foundation, with plans for an ELIX token launch through initial DEX offerings (IDOs) on Seedify and the Elixir Launchpad. Additionally, Elixir Games aims to introduce the KIDEN token for RoboKiden later this year.
