Enjin has announced a partnership with George Murphy and The Rising Suns to expand their NFT reach to a billion users via the Enjin ecosystem. This is George Murphy's first foray into non-fungible tokens, and they will work together to offer tokenized vinyl records.

Two additional partners are involved: New York Culture Club, which specializes in integrating NFC chips into items, and The Squirrel, the NFT.io platform hosted by Kevin and Bob.

The partnership's mechanism is straightforward. Vinyl records will feature artwork from George Murphy and The Rising Suns. Owners can use NFC-enabled phones to verify ownership and unlock tokenized assets. The Enjin NFT certificate, hosted by NFT.io, will prove authenticity.

This collaboration also touches on real-world assets (RWAs), aiming to tokenize vinyl to enhance digital ownership and represent physical assets in the digital world.

George Murphy was drawn to NFTs for the global fan engagement they offer, allowing him to connect with over 600 million listeners and reach a wider audience. Murphy sees this as a way to get closer to his audience through NFTs.

Offerings may include concert tickets, proof of tune ownership, exclusive previews, and live digital concerts. Token ownership serves as membership, granting community members access to exclusive features.

Entering the NFT space also enhances economic opportunities for Murphy's artwork, allowing him to manage its distribution, monetization, and sharing. Adhering to pre-defined criteria helps maintain the artwork's integrity and expand its audience. This method contrasts with traditional modes that often lack direct engagement.

Enjin provides on-chain royalties, ensuring artists receive a percentage every time their work is traded or sold on the Enjin marketplace.

Although NFTs are not new to the mainstream, mass adoption is still developing. This partnership, along with Enjin's efforts, could be lucrative as they aim to onboard a billion users in the future.
