The EOS Network Foundation, a blockchain platform, recently unveiled significant changes to its EOS blockchain, outlined in the EOS System Contracts v3.4.0 release.

These changes aim to stabilize and expand the EOS token economy by introducing a fixed supply model, capping the total token supply at 2.1 billion and implementing token vesting schedules for network custodians. Additionally, strategic management of EOS RAM is a focal point, with plans to allocate tokens for market making, liquidity provisioning, and ecosystem initiatives.

Approval of the multi-signature proposal could lead to significant RAM allocations and funding for middleware development. Looking ahead, EOS staking rewards are expected to begin with REX 2.0 by the end of June, pending successful implementation of the proposed changes.
