Asset managers have submitted revised proposals for Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The latest batch of amendments includes filings from 21Shares, BlackRock, Fidelity, and VanEck. These filings reveal crucial details such as fees and seed investments, which are crucial for the ETFs' launch.

BlackRock and VanEck have both submitted their amendments to S-1 forms for Ethereum ETFs. BlackRock's amendment includes a seed investment of $10 million, while VanEck's amendment features a 0.20% fee, which is close to Franklin Templeton's fee of 0.19%. This added pressure on BlackRock to stay under 30bps at least. The fees for ETH ETFs are expected to be as low or even lower compared to those of Bitcoin.

Fidelity also filed its third amendment to the S-1 form for an Ethereum ETF, but no fee was included. Franklin Templeton is the only one with a fee, and Bitwise did not include one either. The SEC must now review the forms and let issuers know of any final changes needing to be made before ultimate approval.

Experts predict that Ethereum ETFs could launch around July 2. The SEC has approved a rule change that allows major asset managers to list and trade eight spot Ether ETFs. The launch of these ETFs is expected to have a significant impact on the Ethereum market, similar to the launch of Bitcoin ETFs in January. The hype around Ethereum ETFs is even spreading in Europe, with UK-based multinational bank Standard Chartered launching a Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum trading desk.
