The stock, recognized by the symbol EXOD, is slated to commence trading on the platform beginning May 9.

JP Richardson, the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Exodus, showcased his optimism about the approval, expressing that "By engaging in trading activities on the NYSE American, Exodus can foster enduring value for our shareholders, broadening our reach within the investor community and subsequently enhancing liquidity."

NYSE American, previously identified as the American Stock Exchange (AMEX), tailors its services towards firms with relatively smaller market capitalization in comparison to the NYSE, fostering an environment conducive to growth and advancement.

Prior to this recent development, EXOD shares were featured on the OTCQX market. The authorization granted signifies Exodus' progression to the NYSE, an advancement commonly referred to as "uplisting." The company highlighted that current stockholders are not required to execute any proactive measures leading up to the NYSE American listing.

Established in 2015, Exodus Movement concentrates on fabricating self-managed wallet services designed for a diverse array of digital currencies, including bitcoin, ether, and various other virtual assets. Particularly noteworthy are the company's EXOD security tokens, representing Class A EXOD common shares, which have been tokenized on the Algorand blockchain. This move enhances investors' accessibility and management capabilities through Exodus wallets, distinguishing Exodus as the exclusive entity in the United States to tokenize its common stock via blockchain technology.

In its preliminary assessment for Q1 in 2024, Exodus documented strong financial performance, achieving revenues of $29.1 million, signifying a notable 118% surge in comparison to the corresponding period in the prior year. Furthermore, the establishment boasted an approximate 1.69 million monthly active users during the initial quarter, underlining the expansion of its user base and increased market acceptance.
