Industry experts like Michaël van de Poppe, CEO of MN Trading, anticipate further decline, suggesting that Bitcoin might fall to the mid-$30,000 range before a potential rebound. This presents an opportunity for investors seeking to increase their Bitcoin holdings within the $36,000 to $40,000 price range.

Analyst Rekt Capital observes Bitcoin's behavior, noting similarities to patterns seen before block subsidy halvings. This suggests the possibility of further decline in the lead-up to the halving scheduled for April.

Additionally, a significant transaction involving the sale of 59,000 BTC, acquired at $26,000 each, has recently occurred, yielding a profit of nearly $900 million for the seller.

Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) is gaining attention as an attractive digital asset amidst Bitcoin's downward trajectory. The Ether to Bitcoin rate experienced a slight increase last week, reaching close to the 0.06 BTC mark, its highest level since April of the previous year. Caleb Franzen of Cubic Analytics highlights Ethereum's strong resistance at this level.

Based on Franzen's analysis and other indicators, there is speculation that the Ethereum to USD rate could potentially surpass Bitcoin's equivalent rate in the near future.
