In a shift of events, the Fidelity Investments Spot Bitcoin ETF FBTC experienced a halt to its 63-day streak of continuous inflows as investor interest wanes.

Closing the market on Friday, Fidelity Investments' spot Bitcoin ETF FBTC saw a notable change with zero inflow, marking the conclusion of its impressive 63-day run.

Fidelity's Spot Bitcoin ETF Reverses Course

As highlighted in a post by Farside Investors, a London-based investment firm, Eric Balchunas, a senior Bloomberg ETF analyst, shared a chart illustrating the streaks maintained by various ETFs. Confirming the information, Balchunas noted that FBTC's streak came to an end on the 63rd day.

This development may surprise investors and market watchers, given the stellar performance of the spot Bitcoin ETF, surpassing even industry giants like BlackRock.

During the final week of March, Fidelity Investments captured a significant portion of the surge in client interest in spot Bitcoin ETFs, outshining competitors. Specifically, Fidelity's FBTC saw inflows amounting to $261 million, overshadowing BlackRock's IBIT, which only received $35 million in inflows.

Data from Farside Investors revealed that on March 26, the nine spot Bitcoin ETFs collectively attracted a net inflow of $417 million. Among them, Fidelity's FBTC led the pack with a single-day net inflow of around $279 million, marking the second instance of outpacing BlackRock in daily inflows that week.

BlackRock Leads, Grayscale Struggles

Among the nine spot Bitcoin ETFs, BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC have shown resilience, securing positions in the top 20 ETF "all-time high" list while Grayscale faces significant outflows.

Recent data from Farside Investors indicated that only BlackRock saw inflows, totaling $111.1 million. Balchunas' chart highlighted BlackRock IBIT's 64-day inflow streak, potentially vying for the 14th spot all-time against USMV, a BlackRock ETF tracking U.S. equities.

In contrast, Grayscale continues to experience outflows, a trend persisting since the launch of the spot Bitcoin ETF, with a notable outflow of $166.2 million recorded on Friday.
