Vitanza highlighted two factors that could contribute to a surge in Bitcoin's price and positively impact MicroStrategy's shares in a recent client note. The first factor being the upcoming deadline for corporate investment managers to submit their SEC Form 13-F by May 15, 2024. Vitanza suggests that increased purchase of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds by companies could indicate a growing institutional acceptance of Bitcoin, leading to a potential boost in its price.

Furthermore, Vitanza mentioned another event that could benefit Bitcoin and consequently MicroStrategy - the SEC rejecting a spot Ethereum ETF. This decision could potentially lead to more capital flowing into Bitcoin as investors seek a digital asset winner, especially with the uncertainty surrounding Ethereum until 2025. Vitanza believes that with Bitcoin emerging as the preferred digital asset, demand could soar, especially following the last block reward halving, leading to a sharp increase in its price.
