A trader of memecoins made millions of dollars with many holdings on tokens with meme themes in Solana

Blockchain analysis company Lookonchain noticed a trader's activities on April 26.

The trader used the Solana Name Service account "paulo.sol." With meme tokens like Dogwifhat (WIF), Jeo Boden (BODEN), and Bonk (BONK), the cryptocurrency wallet made money.

The trader made an initial investment in BONK on November 11, 2023. After observing that memecoin was increasing, the user purchased tokens.

Afterwards, the trader engaged in swing trading, purchasing at lows and selling at highs. The trader made almost $6.28 million trading BONK in total.

The trader also observed BODEN and WIF in the interim. The Solana memecoin holder did not buy tokens right away when they first became live.

As a whole, the trader realized over $22.83 million from flipping Solana-based meme tokens. While the trader already secured millions in profits, the crypto user still holds $7.6 million in BODEN tokens and $5.7 million in WIF at the time of writing.

“Epic sat” mined from fourth Bitcoin halving block sells for $2.1M

An “epic sat” — an exceptionally rare satoshi mined from the fourth Bitcoin halving block — has sold for 33.3 Bitcoin (BTC), worth about $2.13 million.

The sale of the satoshi — the smallest unit of Bitcoin — took place on cryptocurrency exchange CoinEx Global on April 25 — roughly five days after one of its partners, Bitcoin mining pool viaBTC, mined it in block 840,000 on April 20.

Before an unidentified bidder secured ownership rights to the epic sat, with "sat number 1,968,750,000,000,000," the auction began on April 22 and witnessed 34 bids.

The next-closest rival placed a 20 Bitcoin bet for the uncommon seat.

CoinEx wrote on X on April 25, saying, "The auction has concluded successfully, with the FIRST & ONLY epic sat selling for 33.3 $BTC (≈$2,134,000)."
