Recently, they announced plans to join forces with Avalanche, an open-source blockchain platform that supports blockchain projects with smart contracts. Because Fonbnk provides tokens for users through generated airtime, Avalanche provides users with access to the tokens on the Avax network in addition to USDC. This makes cross-border payments accessible for users, which is made up of the sub-Saharan African market.
