Genesis Global Holdco has reached a $2 billion settlement with the New York State Attorney General's office following allegations of deceptive financial practices. This resolution, subject to approval by a bankruptcy court due to Genesis' bankruptcy status, signifies a significant development in cryptocurrency business regulation.

The agreement between Genesis and New York Attorney General Letitia James stands as a substantial milestone in the state's history of overseeing cryptocurrency activities.
