Year-to-date inflows into crypto-related investment products have reached a record $14.9 billion, per CoinShares' weekly report. This milestone follows a third consecutive week of inflows totaling $1.05 billion, with ETP trading volumes rising 28% to $13.6 billion, marking a significant increase from prior weeks.

James Butterfill, CoinShares’ head of research, noted that recent price increases have boosted the total value of assets under management for digital asset ETPs to $98.5 billion. Breakdown of the flows shows Bitcoin-related ETPs accounted for 99% of total inflows, recording $1.01 billion last week, while short Bitcoin products saw outflows of $4.3 million.

Butterfill indicated that the substantial BTC ETP inflows reflect a return of positive market sentiment, likely influenced by investor interpretation of FOMC minutes and recent macro data as mildly dovish. Ethereum-related investment products also experienced strong inflows, reaching $36 million, the highest since March, possibly due to the approval of ETH ETFs in the U.S.

Other large-cap digital assets such as Solana, Chainlink, and Litecoin collectively saw inflows exceeding $10 million. However, while U.S. investor interest in crypto products remains positive, Hong Kong's ETFs faced outflows. Since their initial launch, which saw $300 million in the first week, Hong Kong's Bitcoin spot-based ETFs have experienced outflows of $29 million last week, bringing the month's total outflows to approximately $80 million, the highest among countries.
