American giants like Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo surprised many by revealing their investments in this new asset class. According to data compiled by Bitcoin ETF tracker Julian Fahrer, the initial wave of Form 13-F filings revealed holders from 12 different countries. The United States led the pack with 898 holders investing a total of $9.27 billion across various issuers such as BlackRock, Grayscale, Fidelity, and Bitwise. Notable investors like Susquehanna International Group and Boothbay Fund Management contributed significantly, injecting millions into these ETF shares.

Hong Kong secured the second position with 15 holders investing a total of $210.93 million, highlighting growing interest from the island. Similarly, Channel Island Jersey and Canada followed closely with 10 and 7 holders respectively, adding to the global footprint of Bitcoin ETF investments.

The impact of these large investments in the spot Bitcoin ETF market has been profound. By injecting billions, these investors have increased liquidity and reduced available Bitcoin supply, which historically has driven up prices. This was evident in the first quarter when Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $73,750.07 per coin. Although prices have since corrected, optimism remains high for a bullish resurgence.

Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $66,843.05, showing a 2.2% increase in the last 24 hours, reflecting ongoing market confidence in the potential of spot Bitcoin ETF investments.
