HashKey Group, based in Asia, has introduced the HashKey Global exchange after acquiring a license in Bermuda to provide authorized digital asset trading services.

Livio Weng, COO of HashKey Group, stated that the company aims to create one of the world's largest clusters of licensed exchanges within the next five years, surpassing all current regulated exchanges.

Headquartered in Hong Kong with operations in Singapore and Tokyo, the firm achieved unicorn status earlier this year after a successful fundraising round that brought it close to its $100 million target.

HashKey Global will initially offer spot trading services for 21 digital assets, including bitcoin, ether, Tether, and Circle's USDC, with plans to launch futures trading products in the coming weeks.
