This initiative is directed at device manufacturers and marks a pivotal step in offering global, affordable, and cost-effective wireless connectivity.

The tech stack licensing program is designed to foster a collaborative ecosystem where device manufacturers play a crucial role in transforming the $3.1 trillion telecommunications industry. Helium Mobile emphasized in a press release to crypto.news that this program aims to bring wireless service to real people, rewarding users for their contributions.

Helium Mobile’s Solution for Network Builders

The licensing program provides third-party manufacturers with access to Helium Mobile's infrastructure and ecosystem, which boasts robust security features such as TrustZone, Secure Boot, and Full Disk Encryption. Manufacturers can integrate Helium Mobile’s tech stack to expedite decentralized connectivity solutions. The tech stack includes firmware integration, access to the Helium Mobile Builder App for seamless connectivity to the Helium Network, and the Helium Mobile Hotspot Dashboard for real-time network management and monitoring.

MNTD. Becomes First Helium Mobile Vendor

MNTD., a Web3 company specializing in crypto hardware devices, has become the first third-party manufacturer to incorporate Helium Mobile's technology. The company has produced the largest share of MOBILE Hotspots deployed on the Helium Network.

Earlier this year, Nova Labs partnered with Telefónica, a leading telecommunications provider, to launch Helium Mobile Hotspots in Mexico. Additionally, Solana Pay’s integration with Shopify enabled holders of the MOBILE token to purchase Hotspots and other items from Helium Mobile.

In a significant development, Helium Mobile recently updated its Helium Mobile Builders app for Android and iOS. The update introduced new features for optimizing coverage, troubleshooting, and data transfer breakdowns, enhancing the user experience and operational efficiency of the Helium Network.
