Four men are being sought by the Hong Kong police in connection with the kidnapping of a crypto investor who was involved in a $1.9 million crypto investment dispute. On Tuesday, the 55-year-old woman was taken from a car she was riding in with her husband in Tai Lau Leng Village, off Po Shek Wu Road in the Sheung Shui district. When the husband attempted to stop them from taking her, the suspects attacked him with a stun gun.

The woman was freed at approximately 9:45 p.m., about an hour after she was taken away in a seven-seater car. She is a crypto investor, while her 43-year-old husband is the owner of an information technology company. The attack, according to those familiar with the situation, was connected to a $1.9 million crypto investment dispute in which the victim was involved.

The police were called to the scene of the crime after receiving a report from the victim's husband. When the woman was freed in Ta Kwu Ling, which is about 4.3 miles from the scene of the crime, she went to the closest police station to seek assistance. The kidnappers were between the ages of 30 and 50, and the woman had never met them before. She had little injuries to her arms and legs, while her husband suffered wounds to his head, neck, and limbs.

The police are looking into the case as a possible case of illegal imprisonment and assault. The pair was sent to the hospital for care. The police have not made any arrests yet, and this was the second kidnapping in the city in less than 32 hours. Hong Kong is seeing a rise in crypto crimes, mostly because of financial arguments over digital asset investments.

Last month, it was reported that the Hong Kong police saved a 19-year-old who had been through a terrible experience. They caught three teenagers who were in charge of the assault and illegal imprisonment. The victim was threatened and brutally beaten with baseball bats because of a fight over $23,000 in crypto trading profits. There are nine people suspected, but only three were caught at the scene of the crime. The police are still looking for the other six, who are four men and two women.
