Laurent Benayoun, CEO of Acheron Trading and an expert in quantitative trading strategies, suggests that Bitcoin's price could potentially surge by another 150% during the current bull market cycle.

Benayoun envisions a potential peak for Bitcoin price at $180,000, taking into account various factors such as the introduction of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and the forthcoming reduction in supply due to the Bitcoin halving.

He elaborated:

"Based on historical performance, each cycle has seen a diminishing multiple on the all-time high. Applying this trend, we could expect a range of 2x to 3x compared to previous cycles, potentially reaching around $120,000 to $180,000 per unit."

Furthermore, Benayoun anticipates that the improving financial policy in the United States, with expectations of decreasing interest rates, will also contribute to Bitcoin's price appreciation.

Several other recent forecasts align with Benayoun's prediction. Bitfinex analysts foresee a price target of $120,000 by the end of 2024, with the cycle peak expected in 2025. Additionally, wealth management giant Bernstein expects Bitcoin to break out to approximately $150,000 by mid-2025.

Even more ambitious targets suggest Bitcoin's price could peak at $337,000 in a bullish scenario. Bitcoin analyst Willy Woo, managing partner at CMCC Crest, indicates that the current bull market is still in its early stages.

Furthermore, some predictions are even more bullish, such as Cathie Wood's forecast from Ark Invest, who envisions a $1 million Bitcoin price by 2030, emphasizing the increasing institutional involvement in the cryptocurrency market.

Bitcoin recently surpassed the $70,000 mark on March 25 after a 10-day hiatus. Currently, BTC price is up over 6.3% on the weekly chart, trading around $70,800.
