This is why crypto projects, especially new ones, use Telegram to harness its community, push notifications and updates concerning the project, give airdrops and host AMA (Ask me anything) sessions. Marketing is a fundamental aspect of business growth. It boosts awareness about a new product, service or programme to the public. However in the blockchain, it also requires not just the marketing skill, but also a community that is willing to broadcast the project to potential investors.

To grow a telegram community for crypto marketing, here are few things you can do:-

You need a blockchain skill

You cannot successfully grow a telegram channel without giving value. This is the reason you must show proficiency in any relevant blockchain skill, especially one that people are interested in. It could be trading, writing, marketing, airdrop hunting, on-chain analysis, any skill at all that is relevant to the blockchain space.

I must also add that having the skill is not enough, it is very important to know how to teach or share the knowledge.

Host timely and free webinars

As part of giving value in your telegram channel, host free webinars on a timely basis. This should be an opportunity to teach that skill you have acquired. Telegram has tools that enable teaching as you can share your screen while on voice call, you can also host a large number of people in a group voice call.

Share free insights and embed your telegram link

The knowledge sharing should not be limited to your telegram channel alone, after all the goal is to bring people into your space. To achieve this, consistently share useful insight about what you know on other social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Discord etc. and embed an invite link to your telegram channel.

Essentially, people should know you for something. For instance, if you are a trader, be consistent with sharing insights about trading. That way, you will open the door of organic followership without hustle.

Solicit for Volunteers

At some point in the growth process, you may need an extra hand. A cost effective way of getting help is to seek volunteers. As a student, you can meet with friends and acquaintances who are still at the entry level of their skill, e.g. Social Media manager or Graphics designers. At this level, they will be eager to get an opportunity to practice. By asking them to volunteer, you are equally giving them a platform to grow in the process.
