DeLorean has announced a collaboration with Otherlife, a Web3 creative agency specializing in digital design, web experiences, and technical strategy for Web3 and the metaverse. Otherlife, previously known as Nightshift, was acquired by Moonpay in January 2023. Together, DeLorean and Otherlife plan to develop a marketplace for fans to buy, sell, and trade vehicle reservation build slots.

Otherlife has an impressive client roster, including Microsoft, Mastercard, Arsenal FC, and Coinbase. DeLorean's announcement emphasizes leveraging blockchain technology to offer transparency and security in the reservation process, ensuring a seamless customer experience. DeLorean highlights that a transparent and immutable ledger will provide accurate future insights into each vehicle's history and performance, surpassing traditional platforms.

The marketplace is expected to be fully operational by Q4 2024 and will be hosted on delorean.com, enabling current build slot holders to manage their reservations. New reservations for the second year of production will be available shortly after the launch.
