The growth of Cardano's smart contracts has been on the rise, reaching 41,743 Plutus V1 and V2 scripts in total. This surge in smart contracts comes at a time when the cryptocurrency market is stabilizing, despite a recent price decrease of 30% from its peak.

Cardano, currently ranked eleventh in terms of market value, is gaining attention for its significant increase in Plutus V2 smart contracts. Smart contracts are essential in activating decentralized applications (dApps) and simplifying automatic transactions on the blockchain, positioning Cardano as a major player among blockchain platforms.

With a total of 41,743 Plutus scripts as of April 15, including 6,470 Plutus V1 scripts and 35,273 Plutus V2 scripts, Cardano's smart contract growth is evident. The addition of 1,211 new Plutus contracts in April reflects a 3% increase compared to April 1.

Despite a recent price pullback, Cardano's ADA token faced resistance at $0.86 before declining, following a golden cross pattern. The price correction led to a 30% drop from the altcoin peak in 2024, with Cardano's price falling by 32% last month and an additional 20.08% decrease last week.

As of the latest data, Cardano (ADA) was trading at $0.4654, showing minimal movement. The impact of these positive developments on the network on the price of Cardano remains a subject of interest.
