Cosmopolitan University in Abuja recently announced plans to implement a supercomputer cluster to enhance agricultural technology. Professor Carl Adams, the Vice Chancellor, emphasized the importance of using supercomputers to develop high-quality AI capabilities that require efficient processing and storage.

During a matriculation ceremony attended by 54 students, Professor Adams stressed the need for energy-efficient computing methods to avoid wasteful consumption. The university plans to utilize solar panels, heat exchange systems, and thermoelectric generation to achieve zero-impact and carbon-neutral facilities. Additionally, access to the supercomputers will be extended to other universities, government entities, and businesses in Nigeria seeking advanced computing solutions.

Professor Adams urged students and parents to take full advantage of the university's facilities and expertise, emphasizing the institution's commitment to providing a world-class education. He also highlighted the accomplishments of the university staff, whose books have been included in prestigious UK libraries, further solidifying the college's reputation for academic excellence.

Nu’uman Danbatta, the current chairman of the university's board of trustees, praised Cosmopolitan University as a beacon of knowledge and innovation.
