This move aims to maintain an expanded node network to support innovative projects, products, and platforms within Web3. These networks empower users to contribute computing power to the decentralized network through GalaChain's DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network), enabling community computers to function as blockchain workers and rewarding operators accordingly.

During the development of GalaChain, there was a focus on tokenizing node licenses, aligning with the blockchain's principle of allowing users to own tokenized products. Thus, the certification to operate a DePIN node for rewards became a priority. Consequently, the founder's and Common Ground World nodes will be the initial ones within the GalaChain network to undergo tokenization.

Previously, node certifications within the decentralized Gala ecosystem were released as account-locked products, making them non-transferable and non-tradable. However, with the introduction of node workload NFTs, operators are incentivized to trade their certifications.

It's essential to clarify that node workload NFTs represent tokenized certifications for running nodes and earning rewards, not the actual nodes themselves. The nodes are operated using the GalaChain node client on the operator's computer. By transferring a node workload NFT to another user, they gain the authority to run that specific node and receive the associated rewards.

Members of Common Ground World are tokenizing certifications related to Common Ground World Nodes, laying the groundwork for the forthcoming Common Ground World Guilds—a pivotal aspect of Gala's flagship game, which involves town and city developers.

Individuals who previously purchased Common Ground World Node certifications during a previous sale will be eligible to receive node workload NFTs.
