JuiceUp, a power bank rental platform, has announced its integration with peaq's decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) ecosystem. This strategic partnership comes as competition in the power bank sharing segment intensifies, leveraging blockchain technology to enhance service delivery and user experience.

By adopting peaq's blockchain infrastructure, JuiceUp aims to revolutionize the multibillion-dollar power bank sharing industry. The platform will run natively on peaq, utilizing peaq IDs for decentralized identity standards and implementing its rewards mechanism on the peaq network. This integration is designed to benefit Web3 enthusiasts who contribute to JuiceUp’s expanding network of charging stations.

JuiceUp's innovative approach introduces Web3 to the power bank sharing segment, creating a DePIN of community-owned power bank stations. These stations can be set up in popular public places like hotels, restaurants, and bars. Users can rent power banks from these stations to charge their devices, generating revenue for the station owners. This community-centric model aims to address power imbalances and align the interests of all stakeholders in the power bank rental market.
