KYVE and Synternet are harnessing the Interchain Stack's capabilities to introduce a new era of blockchain data centralization mechanisms, both for historical records and real-time data. By leveraging the Interchain Stack, these two blockchains, Synternet and KYVE, are collaborating to ensure that all data types in Web3 are accessible to everyone.

Originally, KYVE aimed to archive historical data from various chains onto Arweave through a smart contract. However, to fully realize its potential, KYVE required its own blockspace for scalability, a consensus layer for security, and more. Consequently, the KYVE team launched its own Cosmos SDK Layer 1 blockchain in April 2022, using the Interchain Stack as a foundation due to its user-friendly, secure, and versatile app-building capabilities.

Synternet's data infrastructure is also built on the Interchain Stack, providing permissionless real-time data infrastructure for developers to build cross-chain decentralized applications (dApps) using composable data streams.

Both Synternet and KYVE require specialized governance and scalability, which the Interchain Stack architecture facilitates. In the second quarter of 2024, Synternet plans to introduce its Layer 1 blockchain to the interchain ecosystem to deliver a Web3 data infrastructure platform that is efficient, trustworthy, scalable, and robust.

Collaboration between KYVE and Synternet began in December 2023, integrating their data solutions to aggregate the entire Web3 ecosystem into a reliable dataset spanning from block genesis to the present. KYVE offers data roll-ups as a service (DRaaS), ensuring dependable historical data storage with high upgradability and seamless integration.

Meanwhile, Synternet enhances flexible and interoperable data frameworks across all prime chains, enabling builders to develop composable and interoperable apps capable of utilizing relevant data from every chain.
