The TRON DAO has announced that the TRON blockchain now supports LayerZero, making TRON the second non-EVM chain integrated into LayerZero's cross-chain interoperability protocol. This development allows TRON ecosystem developers to expand their applications to over 70 other networks supported by LayerZero.

LayerZero is an advanced interoperability protocol that facilitates seamless interactions between different blockchain networks. With its integration, TRON developers can deploy decentralized applications (dApps) across multiple blockchain platforms, enhancing interoperability and accessibility. Additionally, developers on other LayerZero-supported networks can now bring their applications to the TRON mainnet.

TRON is a leading public blockchain with a highly active user base, boasting nearly 1.8 million daily active users and a 50% market share of USDT, the most widely used stablecoin, according to DeFiLlama. This collaboration advances blockchain interoperability, providing developers with tools to innovate and expand their reach, thus driving the adoption of decentralized technologies.
