In one of his recent analyses on XRP's price trends, the chartist aimed to revitalize bullish sentiments amid XRP's lackluster performance. XRP has notably not kept pace with the broader market since the bull market began in Q4 2023.

XRP's perceived underperformance is evident, as it has only seen a modest 4.2% increase since October 2023. In contrast, Bitcoin (BTC) has surged by 154% during the same period, while Ethereum (ETH) has recorded a gain of 124%. Solana (SOL) has particularly stood out with an impressive 690% surge.

According to Crypto Basic's report from two months ago, up to 61% of the top 100 crypto assets have outperformed XRP over the past year. However, historical data suggests that XRP has the potential to outperform the market during bull cycles, as seen in its meteoric rally of 48,823% in 2017.

CryptoBull's recent analysis indicates a possibility of a similar trend repeating in the current bull market. Referring to historical data from the 2014 to 2018 market cycle, where XRP surged from $0.002 to an all-time high of $3.84, CryptoBull predicts a bullish scenario.

During this period, XRP formed an ascending broadening wedge pattern on the monthly chart, typically indicating a bearish bias. However, CryptoBull's analysis suggests that XRP could experience an upsurge, similar to the one observed during the 2014 to 2018 price action.

The pattern reemerged after XRP collapsed to $0.11 in March 2020, leading to a potential price spike and an audacious target of $154. While some market participants doubt the feasibility of such a target, others, like Casi and EGRAG, project more conservative targets of $8 to $13 and $5.89, respectively. Currently, XRP trades at $0.5345, reflecting a 6.93% increase this month.
