In the decentralized finance (defi) sector, liquid staking derivatives (LSDs) have recently experienced positive deposit growth after several weeks of declines. The amount of ETH held by LSDs almost dropped below 13 million, reaching a low of 13.04 million ether. Currently, these platforms hold 13.15 million ether, valued at approximately $50.29 billion.

Twelve days ago, Lido held 9.36 million ETH, and now it has 9.51 million ETH, capturing 72.31% of the market share. This increase of 150,000 ETH indicates Lido attracted a significant portion of new deposits. Rocket Pool’s ETH holdings remained stable over the same period, while Binance’s staked ETH program saw a slight rise from 896,471 to 896,580 ether.

Mantle’s LSD platform experienced a small increase from 476,223 to 473,818 ETH. Conversely, Swell saw a reduction, dropping from 190,087 ETH to 181,863 ETH over the past 12 days. Overall, other LSDs experienced outflows, resulting in net inflows of approximately 110,000 ether, valued at an estimated $417.59 million.

The recent influx of 110,000 ether suggests renewed confidence in the liquid staking defi sector. Lido’s substantial growth, holding over 72% of the market share, highlights its leading position among competitors. However, Swell’s continued decline points to ongoing outflows in certain areas of the market.
