Recent SEC 13F filings have shed light on major financial institutions, unveiling their investments in spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Notable names on the disclosed list include giants like JPMorgan and Wells Fargo. Following the first quarter's conclusion, renowned institutions and banks have made public their considerable stake in spot Bitcoin ETFs. Leading the pack, JP Morgan and Wells Fargo disclosed their investments on Friday.

Data reveals that banking giant JPMorgan Chase holds spot Bitcoin ETFs from BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, Bitwise, iShares, and ProShares. On the flip side, Wells Fargo opted for spot Bitcoin ETFs issued by ProShares and Bitcoin Depot. Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG), an investment and trading titan, allocated $1.8 billion to these funds, notably assigning $1.09 billion to Grayscale's GBTC. Additionally, custodian banks like BNY Mellon and BNP Paribas have delved into BTC ETFs. Noteworthy names like Hightower, US Bancorp, Edmond de Rothschild, Rubric Capital Management, SouthState, and others have also exposed themselves to this asset class.

In the US spot Bitcoin ETF arena, the aggregate assets under management (AUM) of the eleven ETF issuers have surpassed $50 billion. These entities wield influence over 4.2% of the total Bitcoin supply in circulation. Reportedly, the market has witnessed a net inflow exceeding $11.68 billion. However, last Friday recorded a net outflow of $84.66 million. Grayscale, a prominent player, commands roughly $17.6 billion worth of BTC via its GBTC, while BlackRock oversees $16.7 billion under IBIT. Other players such as Ark manage $2.6 billion, VanEck holds $575 million, and Invesco handles $415 million. Notably, since January, BlackRock's IBIT has observed massive influxes of over $16 billion.

Fidelity's FBTC saw a cumulative inflow of $8 billion, positioning it second in line, while Ark's ARKB and Bitwise's BITB tallied up to $2 billion. By May 10, the total value of spot Bitcoin ETFs transacted in US markets touched $2.05 billion, albeit experiencing outflows of over $84.6 million that Friday. Presently, Bitcoin (BTC) is trading at $60,700, registering a % decline in the last 24 hours.
