According to Reuters, a survey conducted by Deutsche Bank has shown that most consumers no longer view Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as temporary trends. Instead, they are considered an important part of the financial system.

Out of 3,600 respondents, the survey found a shift in attitudes towards bitcoin, with 52% believing that it will become an essential asset class and method of payment in March, up from less than 40% in the previous year. Only 1% of individuals now think that Bitcoin will eventually disappear, compared to 20% last year.

The survey also revealed that fewer people believe crypto will dominate the payment method, decreasing from 20% to 5%. Central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) are expected to become mainstream, with 15% of respondents predicting their prevalence, while 25% believe crypto will remain but not reach mainstream status.

Although there is growing optimism about Bitcoin, around 30% of respondents anticipate a price drop below $20,000 by the end of the year. However, others predict Bitcoin's value to be between $20,000 and $75,000, with only 10% foreseeing a price surpassing $75,000.

Recently, Bitcoin's price reached a three-week high on April 8 after several weeks of decline following an all-time high in March. Analysts at Deutsche Bank are optimistic that factors like the Bitcoin halving, regulatory changes, and upcoming ETF approvals will continue to push the market forward in the coming weeks.
