Billionaire investor Mark Cuban claims his Gmail account was hacked after falling victim to a fraudulent call from someone posing as a Google representative.

The hacker, who identified himself as 'noah,' allegedly manipulated Google's recovery methods to gain unauthorized access to Cuban's email account. Cuban warned his followers about the incident, advising them not to open any emails sent from his account after 3:30pm PST on Saturday.

This incident comes just months after Cuban's cryptocurrency wallet was drained of approximately $870,000, possibly by hackers who had been waiting for him to log into MetaMask for the first time in months.

While some users found humor in the situation, others speculated about the number of emails Cuban would have to sort through once he regained access to his account. The crypto community offered support, but some questioned whether his X (Twitter) account had also been compromised.

Despite this latest security breach, Cuban has remained a vocal advocate for the crypto industry, recently pushing for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to regulate "all crypto" rather than the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) due to its regulation-by-enforcement approach.
