Mastercard's Start Path program has welcomed five innovative blockchain startups to its fold, aiming to revolutionize the crypto space with cutting-edge solutions. With a proven track record of supporting over 400 startups from 54 countries since 2014, Mastercard is poised to connect these startups with its vast global payments network, fostering digital commerce and financial inclusion. By leveraging its expertise in constructing a global payments ecosystem, Mastercard aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance and blockchain innovation.

Through the Start Path program, selected startups will gain access to specialized training, mentorship, and Mastercard's extensive network of customers and channels over four months. This collaboration will empower startups like Kulipa and Parfin to develop innovative solutions, such as crypto payment card issuance and enterprise-grade blockchain software.

Mastercard's successful live test of its Multi-Token Network (MTN) with Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong (SCBHK) showcases the potential of blockchain technology in financial services. By tokenizing carbon credits within the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's (HKMA) Fintech Supervisory Sandbox, Mastercard has demonstrated its commitment to leading the charge in blockchain innovation and digital asset integration.
