MicroStrategy's co-founder and chairman, Michael Saylor, has made a bold prediction about Bitcoin's future price, stating that it could reach $13 million by 2045. Saylor shared a graphic illustrating three possible scenarios for Bitcoin's price in 2045: a base case of $13 million, a bear case of $3 million, and a bull case of $49 million.

Saylor presented data supporting his prediction at a recent Bitcoin conference, highlighting Bitcoin's potential as digital capital. He believes that as adoption grows, Bitcoin could surpass $13 million per coin by 2045. Saylor's company, MicroStrategy, is one of the largest public holders of Bitcoin, owning 226,331 BTC purchased for approximately $8.33 billion.

Asset manager VanEck recently predicted that Bitcoin's price could reach $2.9 million by 2050 if significant hurdles are overcome. VanEck also suggested that Bitcoin could account for 10% of international trade and 5% of domestic trade gains by 2050, with central banks holding it as a reserve asset.

Despite the optimistic long-term predictions, short-term sentiment for Bitcoin remains cautious. According to Santiment, Bitcoin's recent price rebound has shifted traders' sentiment to levels not seen in 16 months. Bitcoin's price was down 0.83% in the last 24 hours, trading at $67,489 at the time of reporting.
