Moonbeam, a leader in multi-chain applications, is excited to announce the successful integration of HydraDX. This integration will transition GLMR to HydraDX and HDX to Moonbeam as xcHDX. The bidirectional HRMP link between Moonbeam and HydraDX enables easy token transfers within the ecosystem.

HydraDX is a cutting-edge DeFi protocol designed to transfer liquidity to Polkadot via the HydraDX Omnipool. It reduces liquidity fragmentation and functions as an automated market maker (AMM) by pooling all assets together. Non-HydraDX projects can use XCM to connect with additional assets trustlessly, allowing Moonbeam applications to fully leverage AMM benefits.

Cross-chain smart contracts enable connections with activities on distant blockchains. Moonbeam facilitates spot routing liquidity and is connected to eleven parachains on Polkadot, as well as Ethereum and Cosmos, with support from Axelar, Wormhole, and Layer Zero.
