Mountain Protocol launches its USDM stablecoin on Arbitrum, a certified and permissionless asset fully backed by US Treasuries, offering a 5% APY through daily rewards. This introduction allows the Arbitrum community to engage with a secure, yield-generating asset, deemed the safest RWA.

With USDM on Arbitrum, users can perform DEX swaps, DEX LPing, lend, borrow, use it as collateral for derivatives, engage in interest rate swaps, hedging, or simply hold it for a 5% APY.

Mountain Protocol acknowledges the Arbitrum DAO's funding under the LTIPP scheme. Over the next twelve weeks, they will encourage users to transfer their liquidity to Arbitrum.

They plan to integrate functions with partners like Chronicle protocol, ODOS, and Curve Finance. Chronicle protocol will provide reliable price feeds for wrapped USDM (wUSDM), which is used by most protocols integrating USDM. ODOS facilitates smooth transitions between USDM and wUSDM, and Curve Finance hosts the primary USDM/USDC liquidity pair with over $4 million in TVL, allowing users to swap, provide liquidity, and earn rewards beyond the native USDM yield.

Currently, USDM and Mountain Protocol products are not available to US citizens and other restricted countries.
