Mysten Labs, the creator of the Sui layer-1 network, has forged a partnership with Google Cloud to elevate developers' engagement within the blockchain realm.

Based in Palo Alto, Mysten Labs has joined forces with Google Cloud to enrich the suite of developer tools available on the Sui blockchain. As part of this collaboration, Google Cloud will seamlessly integrate Sui's blockchain data into BigQuery, a serverless multi-cloud data warehouse.

Harnessing Google Cloud's transformative Vertex AI platform, Mysten Labs has harnessed the power of the Move programming language to enhance code debugging and generation for web3 developers. Moreover, leveraging Vertex AI, Mysten Labs has introduced an innovative AI-driven code auditing tool proficient in identifying security vulnerabilities across Rust, Move, Typescript, and Solidity—a programming language pioneered by the Ethereum team for smart contract deployment.

CEO Evan Cheng of Mysten Labs expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting its potential to catalyze the creation of user-centric web3 experiences. He underscored that Google's robust cloud infrastructure will empower developers to pioneer decentralized applications on the Sui blockchain.

In addition, Mysten Labs revealed that Google Cloud is committed to supporting the blockchain's developer community through its Web3 Startup Program. This initiative offers an array of resources, including Google Cloud credits, access to Discord channels featuring blockchain experts, foundation grants, and participation in global events.

The collaboration follows Mysten Labs' recent success in securing $300 million in a Series B funding round, culminating in a valuation exceeding $2 billion. Since its launch in 2021, the blockchain project has garnered support from notable investors such as a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Binance Labs, Jump Crypto, and Circle Ventures, among others.
