Binance, the largest platform for trading digital currency, has declared a forthcoming alteration in its NFT market called Binance NFT. The modification aims to simplify its services and enhance user interactions. Consequently, Binance NFT will discontinue its support for all Bitcoin NFTs.

The announcement specifies that starting at 09:00 AM Turkey Standard Time (TSI) on April 18, 2024, Binance NFT will no longer facilitate the trading or depositing of Bitcoin NFTs. To ensure a seamless transition, users are urged to withdraw their Bitcoin NFTs via the Bitcoin network from the platform by 03:00 AM TSI on the stipulated date.

Following the stipulated time on April 18, 2024, users will lose the ability to purchase, deposit, bid on, or list Bitcoin NFTs on the Binance NFT Marketplace using the Bitcoin network. Any pending listing requests for the affected NFTs will be automatically voided as of today. Moreover, any AirDrops, advantages, or functionalities linked to Bitcoin NFTs will cease to be supported after April 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, a cautionary notice was announced regarding Runestone NFTs by Binance NFT. The platform emphasized that NFTs obtained through an AirDrop for eligible Runestone NFT participants have been dispensed into the respective accounts by 01:00 PM today. Users who qualify for the AirDrop are advised to withdraw the allotted NFTs by 01:00 PM TSI on April 10, 2024, to prevent potential loss of assets.

Users holding Runestone NFTs should be mindful that trading of these NFTs will no longer be facilitated on Binance NFT. Owners of these particular NFTs must take the necessary steps to safeguard their assets and uphold access to associated benefits.
