NiceHash, a prominent marketplace for Bitcoin hashing power, has partnered with Marathon Digital Holdings to introduce specialized firmware for ASIC miners on its platform.

Known as NiceHash Firmware, this new offering utilizes Marathon’s technology to improve the efficiency and earnings potential of ASIC miners. Miners opting for this firmware will benefit from a fee of 2%, which reduces to 1.4% if they exclusively use NiceHash as their primary mining pool.

NiceHash Firmware aims to maximize miners’ profits by incentivizing the sale of surplus hashing power on its marketplace and enhancing the operational efficiency of ASIC machines. Key features include an auto-tuning capability that adjusts based on power and hashrate targets, along with compatibility across various cooling systems like air, hydro, and immersion setups.

The firmware also incorporates thermal protection to prevent overheating and includes a customizable dashboard for comprehensive ASIC performance monitoring. Integration with NiceHash’s management tools such as ASIC Manager, Foreman, and Awesome Miner ensures seamless operation and compatibility.
