NiceHash, a prominent Bitcoin hashing power marketplace, has collaborated with Marathon Digital Holdings to release a new custom firmware for ASIC miners.

The new offering, called NiceHash Firmware, utilizes Marathon’s technology to improve the efficiency and profitability of Bitcoin miners using ASIC devices. This firmware is available at a fee of 2%, which can be reduced to 1.4% if NiceHash is used as the primary mining pool.

NiceHash Firmware is designed to maximize miners' earnings by offering incentives for selling surplus hashing power and enhancing the efficiency of ASIC machines.

Key features of the firmware include an auto-tuning function and a customized environment profile, increasing its accessibility in the market. The auto-tune feature allows miners to adjust settings based on their desired power target, hashrate target, or percentage adjustments. The environment profile ensures it works with ASICs using air, hydro, and single or two-phase immersion cooling systems.

Furthermore, the firmware includes thermal protection to prevent overheating and a custom dashboard for detailed monitoring of ASIC performance. The partnership with Marathon ensures the firmware is compatible with NiceHash ASIC Manager, Foreman, and Awesome Miner.
