After experiencing several delays, Notcoin, the popular Telegram-based game that captivated millions of users, is finally gearing up for its highly anticipated token launch on May 16.

The NOT token, built on The Open Network (TON), is slated to be listed on major exchanges OKX and Bybit. OKX has announced a 'jumpstart' campaign surrounding the token, where customers staking Toncoin (TON) will receive a portion of Notcoin tokens as rewards. The campaign kicks off on May 13, with 1.28 billion NOT tokens allocated to OKX users, constituting 1.25% of the total NOT token supply. While Bybit has not yet revealed similar reward programs, it remains a key exchange for NOT token trading.

The process for Notcoin players to claim NOT tokens earned through the game remains somewhat unclear. Co-creator Sasha Plotvinov recently stated that players can transfer their NOT tokens to a centralized exchange or withdraw them to a self-custody wallet, providing flexibility for users.

Notcoin gained widespread popularity earlier this year, attracting 35 million players who engaged in tapping the image of a token to earn in-game coins. After concluding its mining phase on April 1, the team initially aimed to launch the token on April 20, coinciding with the Bitcoin halving. However, due to necessary preparations, the launch was postponed twice to ensure a seamless rollout.

Plotvinov underscored that the launch of the NOT token marks just the beginning for Notcoin, as the platform plans to introduce new social games and experiences with ongoing NOT token rewards, fostering continued engagement among users.

In a notable development, Binance has announced NOT as the 54th project on Binance Launchpool. From May 13 to May 15, users can stake BNB and FDUSD into separate pools to farm NOT tokens before trading commences on May 16, featuring various trading pairs. The project aims to onboard users through a tap-to-earn mechanic, with continuous airdrops potentially causing price fluctuations. KYC verification is required for staking, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
