Nuon has announced its selection of Chainlink CCIP to facilitate cross-chain transfers of its flatcoin. This integration will span Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum mainnets, aiming to streamline the process of transferring Nuon, an overcollateralized flatcoin.

Nuon's decision to opt for Chainlink CCIP is based on its strong track record in the industry, backed by the Risk Management Network to enhance security and prevent historical exploits. Additionally, Chainlink CCIP stands out for its reliability and security within the Web3 ecosystem.

Utilizing Chainlink CCIP's Simplified Token Transfer (STF) functionality, Nuon will enable seamless cross-chain movement of its token. This choice is driven by factors such as proven security and reliability, flexibility, and future-proof features offered by CCIP.

Stefan Rust, Nuon's CEO and founder, expressed excitement about integrating Chainlink CCIP, highlighting its potential to unlock new functionalities for the flatcoin. STF simplifies token transfer processes, offering a plug-and-play solution with features like Rate Limits, while also allowing for the development of new capabilities through the CCIP interface.
