Ondo Finance announced in a tweet that its flagship yieldcoin, USDY, will be featured as a genesis asset during the launch of MANTRA Chain’s blockchain. USDY offers exposure to short-term US Treasuries alongside the utility of stablecoins, poised to enhance MANTRA’s on-chain liquidity. This collaboration aims to bridge traditional and decentralized finance, marking a significant step for both ecosystems.

Nathan Allman, CEO of Ondo Finance, expressed optimism about integrating USDY into MANTRA’s ecosystem, emphasizing that this move furthers their mission to bring institutional-grade assets to a wider market. John Patrick Mullin, Co-Founder and CEO of MANTRA, highlighted USDY's role in enhancing on-chain liquidity, noting its importance to MANTRA Chain’s strategy of collaborating with leading Real World Asset (RWA) projects.

USDY will not be available in the US or to US persons, ensuring regulatory compliance. The token has not been registered under the US Securities Act, aligning with legal requirements and emphasizing adherence to regulatory standards.
