OrdinalsBot, an infrastructure platform, recently secured more than $3 million in seed funding to improve opportunities within the Bitcoin ecosystem. The funding round was spearheaded by DACM, along with contributions from Eden Block and Nural Capital, as well as WWVentures, Lightning Ventures, and Oak Grove Ventures.

This funding brings OrdinalsBot's total funding to $4.5 million, with over $1 million raised during its pre-seed funding phase. The platform was launched last year following the rise of the Ordinals protocol in the crypto community. Since then, it has developed products to assist in creating and managing Bitcoin inscriptions and BRC-20 tokens.

The platform aims to use this fresh capital to expand opportunities within the Ordinals and broader Bitcoin ecosystem. By expanding its team, particularly the development team, OrdinalsBot plans to innovate and empower users and developers within the ecosystem.

Co-founder Toby Lewis highlighted the platform's growth from an automated inscription service to a multifaceted endeavor. He mentioned the platform's role in turbocharging Bitcoin, the largest and most decentralized chain in the world. Co-founder Brian Laughlan emphasized Bitcoin's importance in decentralized finance and OrdinalsBot's contribution to establishing data infrastructure on the Bitcoin blockchain.

DACM CEO Richard Galvin praised OrdinalsBot's dedication to innovation in Bitcoin's ordinal inscriptions, citing the platform's involvement in mining the largest BTC block to date and recording three of the ten largest BTC inscriptions last month. As a disclosure, some members of CryptoSlate's team made a small investment in OrdinalsBot due to their belief in the project and team.
