Arbitrum Leads with Major Unlock

Arbitrum is set to significantly increase its circulating supply with a major token unlock since its initial airdrop. The project will release over 1 billion ARB tokens by March 16, nearly doubling its current supply, valued at around $2.2 billion.

- Distribution: The core team and advisors will get 673.5 million ARB tokens, while investors will receive 438.25 million ARB tokens.

- Market Impact: Tran Hoan of Capybara Investments notes that this large release might not cause immediate selling pressure, as major investors and the team usually hold onto tokens for future growth.

Other Notable Unlocks

- Aptos: By March 13, 24.84 million APT tokens (6.76% of its circulating supply), worth about $290 million, will be released. Despite releasing $450 million worth of assets this year, Aptos has seen a modest 25% price increase.

- Sui: On March 3, 34.62 million SUI tokens, valued at $58.15 million, will be released. Sui has been consistently releasing new tokens this year.

- Optimism: By March 29, 24.16 million OP tokens, worth over $90 million, will enter circulation. Since the start of the year, Optimism has added approximately $166 million worth of assets to the market.
