Introduction

Launched in November 2020, the JPMorgan BetaBuilders US Small Cap Equity ETF (BBSC) aims to replicate the Morningstar US Small Cap Target Market Exposure Extended Index, representing the 96th to 99th percentile of market capitalization in the U.S. equity sector, ranging from $50 million to $5.0 billion.

The fund has attractive low fees for investing in smaller, less liquid stocks and is managed by four experienced portfolio managers with 16 to 26 years of industry knowledge.

Although the fund is relatively new, its index's performance has been monitored since June 2008, achieving an annualized total return of 8.4% over the past decade. The ETF has 843 holdings, a 30% turnover ratio, and its top 10 holdings make up only 4.4% of its total net assets.

The fund's key sectors are financials (18.8%), industrials (16.6%), and consumer discretionary (15.9%), with an average stock having a P/B ratio of 1.6 and a P/S ratio of 0.9.
