PancakeSwap, a decentralised cryptocurrency exchange, will launch CupcakeHop, a portfolio management tool driven by artificial intelligence (AI).

The solution, created by Bril Finance with support from PancakeSwap, aims to enhance the management of investments in decentralised finance (DeFi).

CupcakeHop, scheduled for release in August, intends to provide real-time risk management and customised investing strategies to a wider user base, hence enabling DeFi.
AI-powered portfolio administration

The CEO of Bril Finance, which created CupcakeHop, Connor O'Shea, stated in a Cointelegraph interview that the AI portfolio management tool automates investing methods based on a user-defined goal and current market conditions:

"It involves continuously modifying tactics to maximize results while optimizing performance."

User-managed risk assessment

A risk engine included in the new tool will recognise and separate any threats, automatically adjusting pools to guarantee the safety of user-deposited funds.

Regarding risk management, O'Shea suggested adding a slider feature for risk management, telling Cointelegraph:

"Basically, I see what I think of as a risk-return slider. When a user logs in, they are presented with three buttons: high risk, medium risk, and low risk. Next, we may establish a return profile for each of those.

O'Shea clarified that the slider tool's goal would be to "make DeFi more approachable, especially for newcomers."

In a lighter vein, O'Shea compared the functioning of the slider concept to the firing sequence of a nuclear weapon as he wrapped up the discussion:

The idea of covering the high-risk button with a plastic cover occurs to me. To hit the red button on the high-risk, you must lift the plastic lid, just like with the nuclear launch code.

CupcakeHop provides consumers with precise and comprehensible information about their investments in an effort to address the problem of reporting accuracy.

During the last quarter, Bril Finance's average monthly trading volume exceeded $27 million, and since late March, the total has reached $82.6 million.
