### Gold Advocate Peter Schiff Refutes Bitcoin Ownership Accusations

Peter Schiff, a well-known advocate for gold and critic of Bitcoin, has dismissed claims that he secretly owns Bitcoin, mocking those who accuse him of such. In a recent tweet, Schiff ridiculed the notion that he holds Bitcoin in private while publicly criticizing it, suggesting that these accusations arise from a refusal to accept his genuine opposition to Bitcoin.

A staunch opponent of cryptocurrencies, Schiff has consistently promoted gold over digital assets. Although he recognizes Bitcoin's profit potential in hindsight, he maintains his anti-Bitcoin stance, asserting he would only have bought it to profit from others' willingness to pay more.

Earlier this month, Schiff declared that Bitcoin is in a bear market, mocking long-term holders by saying "the party is over."

Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $60,807, with a slight decline in the past 24 hours. Gold, priced at $2,357, has shown little movement since hitting record highs last month.
