Polimec, a decentralized and community-driven funding parachain, has officially been launched on Polkadot to commence its initial project evaluation process, according to a brief statement released to CryptoState.

The platform specializes in assessing Web3-related projects for potential fundraising endeavors, with a focus on providing clarity, connectivity, and regulatory compliance throughout the evaluation process.

The introduction of Polimec is expected to significantly impact decentralized fundraising, enhancing connectivity options and community engagement. It is anticipated to revolutionize the way Web3 projects secure funding.

One of Polimec's initial project evaluations involves Apillon, a Web3 framework aimed at builders. Apillon enhances builders' operations within the Polkadot ecosystem, offering decentralized solutions such as file storage and hosting.

To participate in the evaluation process, users are required to possess a Deloitte-verified KYC identification, granting access to the data room. Here, users can delve into funding-related matters before linking their Polimec tokens (PLMC) with the projects under evaluation.

The evaluation process spans 28 days, during which users thoroughly examine the project's white paper, team members, and tokenomics to make informed assessments.

By linking their PLMC tokens, users express their support for the project. Projects that reach 10% of their funding goal proceed to the next round, with linked PLM tokens held securely until the conclusion or cessation of the funding round.
