Polkadex has simplified the process of initiating a new Orderbook by introducing PolkaPool and Auto-Swap functionalities. This advancement greatly benefits their trading platform, making decentralized exchange trading more accessible and streamlined for new traders who often encounter common hurdles in this type of trading.

The Polkadex trading platform has garnered attention for effectively blending the advantages of centralized exchanges and decentralized networks, such as efficiency and security. Previously, users were required to obtain a small amount of the platform's cryptocurrency, PDEX, to trade on the platform. This served as a mandatory down payment for securing a spot on the Substrate-oriented network, facilitating transactions involving on-chain accounts and funds.

The introduction of automated swaps marks a significant improvement in the current landscape. This feature allows individuals without PDEX holdings to enter the Polkadex ecosystem by depositing DOT or other supported assets via THEA, a decentralized bridging tool.

Through this mechanism, Auto-Swap can borrow liquidity from PolkaPool to convert a portion of transferred assets into the necessary amount of PDEX tokens. This ensures a minimum of 1 PDEX for onboarding and sufficient balance to cover transaction fees, typically around 0.01 PDEX.

Central to this new system is PolkaPool, which has been operational on the blockchain since earlier this year. It manages Auto-Swap deposits in the background while also facilitating token swaps and providing liquidity. The PDEX-DOT liquidity pool serves as the primary active pool, directly linking DOT holders with the Polkadex exchange platform.

Future plans involve expanding the available liquid pools to include additional stablecoin options like USDT, ASTR, GLMR, and PHA, as well as Bitcoin and other tokens of interest to participants. This gradual expansion will further broaden Auto-Swap's service capabilities over time.

The user-friendly Auto-Swap feature simplifies the onboarding process, allowing users to connect their preferred wallet to the Polkadex Orderbook platform, select the decentralized transfer token, and initiate the transfer. After reviewing transaction details and Auto-Swap rates on the THEA interface, users can execute the transfer using their wallet and complete account configuration by linking their wallet to the Orderbook.
