Polkadex has introduced a streamlined approach to creating a new Orderbook by incorporating PolkaPool and Auto-Swap features. This innovation enhances the trading platform by offering a more seamless experience for new traders interested in decentralized exchange trading, addressing the typical challenges faced by beginners in this field.

Polkadex's trading platform has gained prominence for effectively combining the benefits of centralized and decentralized exchanges, such as efficiency and security. Previously, users needed a small amount of the exchange's cryptocurrency, PDEX, to start trading on the platform, serving as a down payment for accessing the Substrate-oriented network and simplifying on-chain transactions.

Automated swaps are set to have a major impact, as they enable users without PDEX to participate in the Polkadex environment by depositing DOT or other supported assets using THEA, a decentralized bridging tool.

This mechanism allows Auto-Swap to leverage liquid funds from PolkaPool to convert a portion of transferred assets into the required amount of PDEX in token sets. This process provides users with at least 1 PDEX for onboarding and sufficient balance to cover transaction fees, usually around 0.01 PDEX.

PolkaPool, a key part of the blockchain since earlier this year, manages Auto-Swap deposits in the background while also facilitating token swaps and liquidity provision. The main active liquidity pool, PDEX-DOT, directly connects DOT holders with the Polkadex exchange platform.

Plans include incorporating other stablecoins such as USDT, ASTR, GLMR, PHA, as well as Bitcoin and other tokens into the liquid pools over time, further expanding Auto-Swap's capabilities.

The Auto-Swap feature's simplicity is a significant benefit for users. Connect your chosen wallet to the Polkadex Orderbook platform, select the decentralized transfer token, and initiate the transfer. Once you've reviewed transaction details and Auto-Swap rates on the THEA interface, send the transfer using your wallet. The final step is linking your wallet to the Orderbook and completing account setup.

PolkaPool's infrastructure development enables a user-friendly onboarding process, while Auto-Swap enhances the platform's accessibility and efficiency. By expanding liquidity pools and accommodating more tokens, Polkadex solidifies its position as a key player in decentralized trading, offering traders the ability to trade from anywhere in the world.
