Recent data from Messari reveals a network teeming with activity: daily active addresses have increased by nearly 120%, new user registrations have surged by 70%, and daily transactions have reached an impressive 4 million. Despite this lively activity, there's a concerning trend: a 19% decline in quarterly revenue from the previous quarter and a 40% drop year-over-year.

During the first quarter of 2024, Polygon saw a significant influx of new addresses, leading to a quadrupling of daily interactions on the platform. The DeFi sector on Polygon also flourished, with the total value locked (TVL) in DeFi projects increasing by 30% compared to the previous quarter. Additionally, the NFT ecosystem on Polygon saw a nearly 20% rise in sales volume.

However, despite this growth, Polygon's revenue is decreasing.
